The Normandy Senior Living

Nestled within the scenic grounds of Normandy Manor, construction of an assisted living facility is the next phase in an on-going series of expansions and improvements at this staged senior living campus. The renovations and new-build project began construction in the summer of 2016. Boulevard Studios was tasked with the landscape and hardscape design of the development, including key outdoor spaces such as dining patios, the buildings’ main entrances, bioretention areas, and a central courtyard. While the courtyard will serve all the building’s residents, it is being developed specifically as a memory garden that will provide a therapeutic space for the facility’s dementia patients. Research and discussion with The Normandy’s knowledgeable staff led to a design that will provide comfort, mobility, and recreation in a safe but beautiful outdoor environment.
